CrossFit OFB of Auckland, New Zealand has launched and is looking FRESH.
It’s always a little surprising to us when boxes in other countries want to go out of their way to work with us. We absolutely love learning about other places, the culture and the peculiar likeness of our local affiliates. For this particular partnership, we had to work across huge time zone differences, but we got lucky with Thiagu, our contact during the build. He’s the nicest guy ever and made it easy on us… especially since he preferred phone calls over Skype which was new for us.
When we started working with CrossFit OFB, they were just opening so one unique thing we helped them with was choosing a name. If you’re an affiliate owner you know what a challenge this is since it has to be so unique. The chosen name, CrossFit OFB, stands for OaksFit Box because the are located in the Airport Oaks area. We think it’s a pretty cool take on a namesake.
One of the challenges we faced with this brand-new website and affiliate was that there were no images yet. Stock photos are just not up to par unless you pay big, so Thiagu had photos taken at one of the first WODs they ever did and we slipped them in at the last second. Flawless!
Something super cool to point out about the CrossFit OFB website is that there are links throughout to MindBodyOnline, where their members purchase memberships and sign up for classes. We take pride in being able to integrate our clients’ preferred applications and such to help their website work FOR them, not against them.
